personality:
Blitzwing’s most calm and collected personality, Icy, a sharp witted tactician. He has a keen mind, and keeps his demeanor cold. He does not get angry, and only ever expresses small amounts of frustration, mostly at feeling he his the only competent Decepticon left to serve Megatron. This aspect of his personality takes control when seriousness is demanded and when it is clear that his ice weapon would give them the most advantage.
Hothead is the epitome of Blitzwing’s emotional and aggressive natures. He is quick to be frustrated and angered when he feels things aren’t going his way. He is outspoken, loud and brash, quick to throw a throw a threat or attack at his opponent. He is nearly fearless and will readily throw himself held-long into battle with little heed to the judgement of such an action. Hothead tends to take control when the situation had angered Blitzwing enough, such as his opponent teasing him, and also when the promise of a fight is available.
Random is best describes as non sequitur compared to the other two personalities. He does not vary far from the other two in matters of opinion, but vastly in how he expresses such opinions. As likely to start dancing and singing as to throw himself into battle Random is the most unprodictable aspect of Blitzwing. It is unknown what kind of though process, if any, he has, he seems to thrive most on making those outside of himself thrown off kilter. Despite his non sequitur and sometimes irrational outbursts Random does act as a kind of mediator between the two other personalities. As such Random’s appearances are not strictly controlled by the situation, but rather when ever he feels the need to add his input, which is often, or when he gets one of his rare good ideas.
Despite the differences in each facets personality there are some factors that are universal for Blitzwing on a whole. To start with, he is a Decepticon, and as such has little concern for causing harm or damage, even to his allies, unless it would cause him more problems. Like wise his moral awareness is very low as well, finding no problems with theft, vandalism or a majority of other crimes. As will all Decepticons Blitzwing has an age old vendetta against Autobots, though primarily Hothead is the one to act on this. He also had a universal fear of Megatron, Icy is a loyal follower and would never question his leaders plans, Hothead is rare to speak up around him and even Random keeps his appearances to a minimum around the fearsome warlord.
Though they considered as three different personalities Icy, Hothead and Random act more like fractured aspects of one person. All three act in conjunction and they are all fully aware of each other and the world going on around them. While they may argue amongst each other over trivial things they are never directly cruel to one another and in fact have a surprisingly peaceful and unperturbed cohabitation with one another. Blitzwing didn’t originally have three personalities to go with his triple changer ability, but instead was a large mech with the ability to transform into more then one alternate mode, it was an experiment by Blackarachnia that fractured his personality and divided him into the three he is now, he does resent her a little for it, but doesn’t bother making a fight out of it.
Being a military model Blitzwing joined the freedom fighters known as the Decepticons in order to earn equal rights as all the rest of the populous. At the end of the Great War, with the defeat of the Decepticons, Blitzwing left with his leader, Megatron, to the outer reaches of the universe in exile. It was here that he continued to follow Megatron, believing the great leader that he would return them to Cybertron and rid their world of the Autobot control. This is all he has wanted since that time, and what he has fought for, he has no set plans for what to do once they have control of Cybertron, as it is uncertain how things will be at that time.
abilities/powers:
Blitzwing’s abilities are governed by his personalities.
Icy is capable of shooting ice shots from his shoulder canon’s, these cause freezing on contact, if sustained blasts are delivered they can ice over a whole person or area, the size is proportional to the length of time. These shots also react to preexisting ice with an amplified effect, causing spikes of ice. Icy is also capable of transforming into a fighter jet which is equip with ice missiles which have the same one shot effects as the shoulder canon ice shots, he also carries standard missiles.
Hothead uses the same shoulder canon to produce superheater shots, which, as can be gathered, cause large explosions. Hothead transforms into a tank that is also equally equip with his superheater canon.
Random has access to both Icy and Hotheads shoulder canon shot types and both alternate mode transformations.
Blitzwing’s transformation form is linked directly to the personality currently in control, if he changes from Icy to Hothead while mid-air he will shift from his jet mode to his tank mode and fall from the sky. While he does not actively do this it is possible to aggravate him enough that Hothead will switch to the forefront on his own. Hothead has also been known to blast first look later and will, from time to time, free frozen enemies that Icy had incapacitated.
While Random seems to have the greatest benefit in battle he is unstable enough that it negates much of his versatility, he can’t even fly in a straight line. He is prone to getting sidetracked slightly from his purpose and this often costs him any advantage he had.
Along with their shape changing each of Blitzwing’s personalities also has it’s own face, that spins into place when they are in control.

Blitzwing walked down the street, careful to avoid steeping on things that could get stuck to his pede. It is was still unnerving to the triple changer to be so small, eight feet was far too small for his comfort, though Random seemed to be the best at adjusting to the change.
“Can ve do zomezing fun now?” Random all but whined, bored enough that if he had a processor before it would be gone now.
“Stop wiz jur endless whining, you big protoform! We should go crush zingz!” Hothead responded as soon as his face was in place. He wasn’t overly angry at Random himself, but at their situation, and was the most put out by the change in size they had gone through.
“We zhould not be arguing, instead we zhould be looking for a vay out of here.” Icy chided the other two, though he himself was getting frustrated with their position, he had already started to recalculate all of their fighting styles and such, hoping that if they came upon a fight they wouldn’t be so put out by their size that they would end up making some foolish mistake.
